Direct emissions from listed companies are expected to make the world 2.9°C warmer by the end of this century. Analysis has shown 9,300 public companies from 23 developed countries are set to expend their collective carbon budget designed to keeping warming below 1.5°C. And shockingly just under half of the companies researched have a net zero target in place.¹
