Join us at the 2022 Energy Live Consultancy Conference
We’re proud to be sponsoring this year’s Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester on 30 November 2022
SSE Energy Solutions will be a sponsor of the 2022 Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) for the sixth year in a row. ELCC is a must-attend event to hear industry experts and leaders speak about important issues affecting the energy broker and consultancy market. There will also be an opportunity to network with peers and friends in the industry.
The conference is followed by the Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) ceremony, which celebrates the many achievements of UK energy consultancies. We’re proud to be sponsoring two categories this year; the Net Zero Leaders award and the Best Business Solution – Renewables award. Good luck to all the entrants shortlisted.
Where to find us
The window for 1.5°C is shutting. What do businesses need to do now to transform rapidly?
10.30am - 11am (Stream A)
Direct emissions from listed companies are expected to make the world 2.9°C warmer by the end of this century. Analysis has shown 9,300 public companies from 23 developed countries are set to expend their collective carbon budget designed to keeping warming below 1.5°C. And shockingly just under half of the companies researched have a net zero target in place.¹
David Grinsted, SSE’s Energy Intelligence Platform Manager, will be opening the window on how businesses can properly engage with energy efficiencies and deep decarbonisation that is desperately needed to keep the 1.5°C goal alive.
Thrive and succeed in the new energy landscape: Stand out with smart
11am - 11.30am (Stream B)
The energy landscape is ever-changing. As a result, our customers are looking for us to be more than just their energy provider or broker. Instead, they require long-term business partners to help navigate this new landscape.
Join our Head of Smart Metering, Kerry Maisey, as she takes you beyond the recurrent myths of smart and onto the possibilities that smart data can bring to us and our customers as we all work towards net zero. Kerry will also touch on installation processes and how we can work together to create bespoke, hassle-free journeys for our customers.
As well as our main speaking slots at 10.30am and 11am, you can chat to our energy experts throughout the day at our event stands.
