SSE Energy Solutions extends partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club and The Kia Oval
SSE Energy Solutions and Surrey County Cricket Club have agreed to a three year extension, as the Club aims to reduce its carbon emissions by 80% by 2030.
As part of the agreement, the Club will receive a comprehensive energy audit to analyse consumption and identify efficiencies. It will also look into renewable energy solutions, such as extending the existing solar assets at The Kia Oval. Throughout the partnership, the focus will be on energy efficiency, supporting the Club in reducing emissions and reaching targets.
To celebrate the partnership, the Oval One stand will also be re-named to the SSE Energy Solutions stand, strengthening our connection with the Club.

It’s also really important to us to support Surrey’s wider business network in their own sustainability journeys and help drive commercial value. We’ll continue to explore further opportunities to help others in their first steps identifying opportunities that are right for their business – both supporting their bottom line and helping the planet at the same time.
