SSE Energy Solutions proudly introduces a state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Hub at Ocean Terminal

Exciting developments are underway at Ocean Terminal, as SSE Energy Solutions proudly introduces a state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Hub as part of the ongoing redevelopment efforts. Positioned at the front of the building, adjacent to the current south car park, this hub marks a significant stride toward sustainable mobility.

Powered by SSE's traceable clean renewable energy, the EV Charging Hub boasts six chargers capable of accommodating up to a dozen vehicles simultaneously. Notably, two of the bays are designated for accessible parking, ensuring inclusivity in our commitment to green transportation. The ultra-rapid chargers, operating at up to 150kW, have the remarkable capability to charge car batteries within an hour, providing swift and efficient service.

Chris Richardson, Managing Director of Ambassador Investment Management, expressed enthusiasm about the swift realisation of the vision for a sustainable Leith waterfront neighbourhood. He acknowledged SSE as a key partner, stating,
