Welcome to Smart Buildings very own “Meet the Supplier” event.

Based on previous event feedback...

• We’ve added an extra day to enable improved networking and collaboration opportunities
• We’ve invited Operations Managers to ensure all our customer facing teams are represented
• We’ve added more voices by including presentations from our Energy Systems and Distributed Energy teams
• We’ve invited 3 strategic suppliers to provide hands on product demonstrations and a joint business development focus as well, and
• We’re finishing off with an interactive session with the senior management team to answer any questions arising from the floor

This year our event is being held slightly earlier than usual in order for us to get off to a really good selling start to the new financial year. You will hear a lot about our 4 Steps to Decarbonisation proposition which is important to combine all the elements of Smart Buildings and Energy Solutions portfolio of propositions together

• BMS installation, support and optimisation
• Energy conservation measures such as Solar PV, battery and ASHP solutions
• Funded smart energy infrastructure including heat and power networks, and solar, and
• Energy supply and flexibility services.

It really is the proposition that brings us altogether and differentiates us amongst our competition.

It’s important to note though that we are not a decarbonisation business, we deliver operational technology solutions to customers with varying demands on us; and I hope you will leave our event with the knowledge that we are planning to speak to our different customers in the language that they expect of us:

Our event is being held in the Henley Suite

The Arden Hotel location on some older Sat Nav versions does not identify our postcode accurately. Should you select the wrong end of the Coventry Road, you can end up being directed several miles away so please be warned!

We are within 1/2 mile of the NEC, Birmingham International Airport/Railway Station and Junction 6 of the M42 – please check your destination is correct before you set off. Our postcode is B92 0EH, but you may find our neighbour’s (B92 0ED, an ESSO service station) helpful. Some Sat Nav’s recognise our postal address as 9 Coventry Road. Once you are on the A45 and in the vicinity of the J6 M42, NEC and Airport, please be vigilant for our brown highway signs. The hotel does have leisure facilities should you wish to swim or go to the gym in your own time.

Accommodation has been booked for everyone for the nights of 1 and 2 April (unless you have advised me otherwise)

There is no need to go to the hotel reception on arrival to check-in. We will be organising a group check-in and so details of what to do will be explained on the day
